# Clearance Initiation

> Manage and track the initiation of employee security clearance requests, including the status and related clearance information.

## Initiate Security Clearance

Record the start of an employee's security clearance process and maintain the associated clearance information.

  <Step title="Fill in the required information ">
    Select **Initiate** to complete the request or **Cancel** to exit without saving changes.
