# Document Number
Manage numbering configurations used to generate unique identifiers for records throughout the system. Supports configuration of prefixes, numbering formats, sequence lengths, and automatic number generation.
## Create a Document Number
Select **Create** to complete or **Cancel** to exit without saving changes.
## Edit a Document Number
Select **Save** to complete or **Cancel** to exit without saving changes.
