An encumbrance can only be closed when there are no pending invoices associated with it. A F E Select A F E Close A F C C Close Select **Confirm Close** to complete the action or **Cancel** to exit without saving changes. ## Cancel an Encumbrance Cancel the encumbrance and release all uncommitted balance back to the appropriation. A F C Cancel A F C C Cancel Select **Confirm Cancellation** to complete the action or **Cancel** to exit without saving changes. Cancellation is permanent and cannot be undone.
